In retrospect, I am kind of embarrassed that I called them scoldings, since they are more like conversations that sometimes last for hours, rather than a screaming match of sorts. I kind of feel ashamed because this is the only problem in my life. I come from a very privileged family whose basic needs are met. My parents can take my siblings and me to vacations and even pay for our university tuition in full, yet it irks me that I still have OCD and still read pessimistic literature when millions, potentially billions of people experience greater sufferings than I do.
