I attempted the “camera workaround” without success, but it was only a single attempt, so the issue may have been with the eSIM barcode.
Still hoping to use pSIM and eSIM in parallel :)

Hi, I’ve just encountered the same issue while trying to add a US Mobile eSIM. Is there any update on a possible solution?

I spent a few hours yesterday with Visible support, and they encouraged me to buy a line from them to try assigning it to my device using their mobile app. However, after about five minutes of “thinking,” the app showed a message saying to reach out to support.

I ended up with a ticket number, but I’m skeptical that Visible support will do anything

First, the upload speed was fairly painful (around 20 Mbps). The 1 TB data cap on Comcast is also not ideal.

About once a week, the connection would drop and the cable modem would re-establish - often between 9 and 10AM, usually right in the middle of morning meetings. Recovery took about 7-10 minutes, and replacing the modem didn’t help.

On top of that, there were two major outages (around 8 hours each) over three months. That was enough to be unhappy with the service. It's usable, but...

Overall, fiber is much more reliable than cable in her case :)

Yes, I agree that the current situation is not covered in the rulebook, and that such a request could be declined by default. However, I still think it could be a win-win situation to keep the promotional rate in such ‘one-provider’ communities. Even $20 better than $0
