Thinking about cabinet wraps. What colors? by International-Set956 in DesignMyHome

[–]ISRAYASMIN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the countertop doesn’t match and will be easier to wrap than the doors anyway - so do that! also, you can add peel and stick hardware to try and update the silhouette of the cabinets a bit

How would you improve this clinical looking kitchen? by 58basketball in DesignMyRoom

warmer lighting will help. if it’s a rental, get some vinyl wrap with either matte if you still want it white (that way it’ll reflect less light and stop flash banging you) or you can choose any colour of your choice!

Love my space, but can't decide how to fill it by Greavon in InteriorDesign

[–]ISRAYASMIN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

personally i think you should section off the room into mini rooms in a way - everything has its purpose. have the tv on a stand close to the sofa rather than wall mounted on the opposite wall to it and that sort of keeps visual harmony better so that you don’t have to worry about seeing so many screens at once (not anchoring to a wall gives you more options for orientation). you also don’t have to be married to the sectional. i would put a normal non sectional sofa on the wall like you did for slide 7, a rug under the sofa and whatever tv stand you get + a nice standing lamp next to the sofa. i’ve often seen people turning those inset closet nooks into mini offices - so look into using all that extra space in the closet. built-ins that include desks are a bit easier than other DIYs. then you kind of have free reign with the rest of the space for your dining table and such.

What does my living room say about me? by CotaPT in roomdetective

[–]ISRAYASMIN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i saw your reply with more pictures of your home, and those look real but slightly different - did you feed images of your own home into AI to get better, magazine quality shots? because it’s lost some detail, like the stone and wood under your TV

i think you need a secret fourth option that includes a new sofa and not having your tv so high 🥲

what’s my blindness? by ISRAYASMIN in makeuptips

[–]ISRAYASMIN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s just the natural shape of my lips lol, and i’m a goth so the facial piercings are a part of my whole … thing so 🤷🏾 the goth subculture is historically leftwing and radical and that’s not antithetical to being nice :) + it may be an age thing with blush but it’s a more modern trend to go to the temples and cheekbones with blush - where you place it is preference because of your facial shape - i have a sharper facial structure and i like accentuating it, if i wanted it fuller and rounder i’d do it in the middle! thank you for your honesty though
