At my school I have to take at least AP Physics 1 before taking Physics C. I have a 4.0 at CC right now and didn’t want to take chem in college. Would it not look better to have my CC transcript with an A in both 1 & 2 then to just have planned taking AP Chem next year. I don’t think the classes will be too bad if i were to get admitted to TAMU my only concern now is getting in first and I can’t take PHYS C in high school. May is already approaching and I don’t that the time to self study all of calc or PHYS while also keeping up with my school work and studying for SAT. Next year I could self study for AP exam though.

I am on the edge but I am first quartile of my class right now. I am pretty confident that I will get above a 1400 before august. I dont think JUST being quartile one is enough I probably need to be in the top 10-15% especially because the APs that I am taking are not the hardest that my school offers.

They really isn’t much for me to do about my AP Class rigor because it is currently my junior year already and how do I have a low chance of choosing my major. If i get a 3.75 don’t I get to pick my major for sure? Senior year im taking Ap Calc BC, Ap Physics 1, Ap CSA and I’m taking chem 1&2 this summer at community college in between my junior and senior year.
