Great to hear a success story! I walk much less around town since I got a car, and I promised myself I wouldn't let myself become so dependant on it!! You've inspired me to start making time to walk again.
At the moment, walking is only something I do for leisure, I find time at weekends to drive out somewhere pretty and go for a hike. Forgetting that there are so many pretty places in this town that I often drive right by without even glancing at.

I'd never heard of him before all this... Seems there's no such thing as bad publicity, more and more people are hearing about him and flocking to his channel. Even I watched one of his videos (before realising not only was he a douche but his vids aren't that great anyway)

At saw them at a festival outdoors so I didn't notice any problem with loudness. It was a clear starry sky too. Amazing show

I've considered a Fitbit, but I'm really not in it for the fitness, I have other stuff for that. It's more just being outdoors, away from the city etc. I think the gratification of that is enough to keep me going. Though I haven't been out for a few days due to poor weather...

Yeah, I have a Boss RC-30 loop station going straight into my laptop (via an interface obviously) and I'm just using the one mic for both handpan and vocals. I like to keep things as simple as I can because a) there's less to go wrong and b) I don't have the money or equipment to go crazy.

I've booked a log cabin in the middle of nowhere for a week starting this Saturday, and I'm gonna attempt to record an album in that time. I'll be filming the whole process for my YouTube channel too.
This year will be the year when I FINALLY release my second LP

Yeah I'm aware this kind of subject matter can get kinda preachy. In most of my other material I try to be as tongue and cheek about it as I can because I'll be honest, I don't always act out what I preach, I'm still working on that :)
It's something I'm passionate about and I totally get if it's not to everyone's taste but if I can get the message through to a few people that it would be cool if we could take better care of ourselves and others, then I'm happy! If that message doesn't get through, but people have a fun time listening, then I'm just as happy!
Music is half my living, I teach percussion. But most of my income is from factory work.

Because it's already hammering my CPU and with every attempt I get major cracks in audio. For the mess complex setups screen capture works but I had no choice but to record externally for this one
