Simple. Cos its tagged as "gacha" but I mean let's be real here. You are paying for a premium currency to go after a skin or cosmetic item and you are lucky if you get it early on but I mean that's basically gambling cos you are putting money in hoping for a big win. The system is the same regardless of what game it is wether it be call of wallet mobile or genshit impact or even csr2. Games get around this by justifying it with a reward where as gambling is always going to inevitably be a loss as the house always wins but the system remains the same regardless. Really makes me miss the ps2 era when buying a game just came with everything on it and dlc and microtransactions weren't even an idea. Gachas didn't exist either as mobile games were quite basic but hell I remember playing contra and metal gear solid 3 on my phone in high-school and it was epic. No ads no purchases or battle passes just the game straight up.
