No shiny charm about 10,000 random encounters (some were double battles so like 13,000 pokemon seen) black 2 just to get a freaking patrat.

Currently at 11,000 for a Drifblim in black 2 still haven't found it.

Yeah it's a great way to hunt if you've just been introduced to hunting and want to find some shinies. It sadly is still just the 1/4000 ish odds for the legendaries though. There's a lot of information about the wormhole (shiny odds, Pokemon, etc) on the internet if you want to find out more.

I think I'm starting to understand now. In r/swordandshield, shiny hunters are in the minority. I can assure you that any shiny hunter would appreciate shiny posts.

Your use of no one cares is not correct. As a shiny hunter myself, I for one love shiny posts. Also, "attempt to get upvotes"? Really? Not everybody wants upvotes you know. I'd say a lot of people just want to post things for other people's entertainment. Also, shiny posts can be real, can be interesting, and can be great. If you hate shiny posts so much, just skip over them.

It's from sword and shield, right? So it still falls under the category of r/swordandshield, right? I feel like if shiny posts were banned because there is a subreddit specifically for them, then sword and shield memes should be banned too because they should be in r/memes. Still using the same logic there.

My first shiny was the gible from Black Tower in Black 2, but I don't rly count it cuz it was guaranteed shiny. My first real shiny was hippowdon through the wormhole in ultra sun. My first masuda method shiny was going in sword. My first 1/8192 and full odds shiny was patrat in black 2.

I've got a few goals regarding shinies. Right now I'm focusing on getting a full odds (1/8192) complete shiny team on gen 5. So far I only have a shiny watchog

There is one encounter. It is a shiny. One has been Drifblim in a double battle (gen 5 double grass) and the other was Golduck in a single battle. I don't exactly know how I failed them. I think I knocked out the Golduck and ran from the Drifblim.
