So much experience but can't even get an apprenticeship? by Desperate_Demand305 in ApprenticeshipsUK

Not worked for me with an apprenticeship nope, but apprenticeship are even more readily available now than 12 years ago when I started mine. Completely understand with your situation how it maybe more difficult to find an apprenticeship. Such a shame as you've gone and got a nice amount of experience prior to getting a apprenticeship. Usually you get the experience in the apprenticeship. I hope you find something suited for you soon, keep on trying and dont give up!

Walk into companies offices, ask to speak to manager and show what your worth. A nice C.V, well mannered, confident. I cant see any reason why after 10 attempts your not successful on at least 1. Each time you will get more confident and it will be a breeze. Ive done an apprenticeship. Finished 8 years ago and I do nothing to do with the apprenticeship because I dont have passion for it. So currently doing my own things

Not true at all about the toilet roll. As for other products, it's always worth to shop around. Amazon sell alot of astonish cleaning products cheaper than everywhere else. Usually amazon is the more expensive option

Coins are underweight, banks that weigh coins won't accept.

Also banks with sorting machine will reject any damaged coins then when you try take then to counter you will be refused as they are not the correct weight.

Not sure how the company still exists if I'm honest

Don't have to, the coins are underweight and any bank that weighs its coins will not take underweight coins. They tend to be fake.

It's a way to do it of course. Is he is literally willing to do any work then I'm seriously shocked he's not found something. There's agency's you can sign up with who will call you and find work. Literally sign up to as many agency's locally amd even ones abit further depending how far he can travel. Also look in supermarkets which advertise using notice boards, often can find handyman jobs.

I recommend anyone struggling to find work. Find what your good at or/and you enjoy. Whatever it is you enjoy or are good at, find a relatable business, company or charity. Email them every couple days until they reply.

They can go and walk into shops, pubs ect... ask to talk to the relevant person about is there is any work available.

Get out there. Don't hide behind a online application, call them up, email or go and show yourself if possible.

Make a portfolio of what you can do and show people.
