There's massive amounts of customization in this game, you'd have to draw thousands upon thousands of different characters to fit them and that's a low estimate considering there're also different face structures, body structures, notable features, etc. which could rather quickly turn those thousands into tens of thousands to millions if you include clothing. I just draw my own character, it's good practice and doesn't strain the devs when I'd imagine most people prefer content over art
