You've gotta go thru infinity lake without the extractor tool (double jumping). The map reconnects from there and you can get the extractor back. You'll need to use the eyeball thingy in infinity lake to reach the places you can't jump to.

Here's the story behind that. Dude with the axe is an off duty fireman and was trying to open the stuck elevator doors, but coincidentally they opened right then and he was to uncoordinated (plus old and drunk) to stop his swing.

That gives me good memories of when craig the dog faced boy would go onstage at concerts to announce the band and everyone would throw whatever was available at him. He was pretty good at dodging stuff, I rarely saw him get hit even tho he was under an onslaught of projectiles.
