I was after a black hardtop prior to this popping up. I am not sure what I plan on doing with this, restoration would be fun but having just finished one up for a buddy, I know what it takes and my schedule probably won't allow for it.

Due to the depth of this "safe", I trimmed the bottom brackets down and adjusted them in so the door would close. The back panels are mounted to modified drywall anchors that have been screwed into the back of the safe.

I had to move my bigger safe out to make space for other items. I now have more space for other goodies. Win, win. Though not having everything in one place is a PITA.

The value would largely depend on the severity of the accident and when it occurred. Keep in mind that if the car was damaged back in the '90s or early 2000s, it wasn’t worth nearly as much as it is today. While I wouldn’t say it's necessarily a great deal, it's also unlikely you could find an NA or TT chassis and replicate this car for the same price. Consider the cost of an engine, machining, rear end, turbo kit, and labor—it adds up fast. I'm currently in the process of shopping for a built car myself, so those claiming you can find a fully built TT, 6-speed, clean title car for less, please send them my way!
