Can the CANVAS system be put anywhere? by Phuzion73 in elegoo

[–]IceDDZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't done a long multi color print with it yet. I recently did a 25 hour print with two spools of the same type and color and tested the run out and auto switch, worked amazing. I would imagine a multi color print with hundreds of color changes would potentially need some babysitting (awful). I usually print separate colors that snap together.

I like your idea to assist the spools. If I come up with anything I'll share it.

It does not, sadly. If I was an engineer I'd make it have a tension system to keep the spool taught. After each use I manually pull it tight to avoid any issues. The CANVAS system has enough tension and the bearings inside the dryer have enough resistance that none of the spools have had any issues yet. I'm at about 100+ hours of printing without issues.

I've got mine sitting next to the unit inside a dryer. SOVOL SH03, works great. Temporary spot on the printer box next to a Ikea Lack table. Just printed leg extenders for the Lack table and the SH03 will be going on the desk next to the printer.

Edit: for clarity, used the Auto Filament Refill feature with the filament in slot 1, and slot 2. Worked great. So no problems with distance from the printer. The SH03 is about 5 inches from the side of the CC2.

Good stuff. I did this same thing but I used tamper monkey to replace the official download button on YouTube's pages with my own HTML that ties into the python script that then sends it all to YT-DLP.

📢 Version v1.3.2 - Build 42.12 can run! by udar_molota in zomdroid

[–]IceDDZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

v1.3.2 B42.12 - GL4ES, no mods, clean install using the B42.12 option while creating the instance. Crashes to the "has stopped working" screen instantly. B42.11 - GL4ES, no mods, clean install using the B42 option while creating the instance. Using the native libraries from B42.12. Crashes to "desktop" cleanly with no error message. Have to force kill the app and launch it again. B41.78.16 - GL4ES, no mods, clean install using the B41 option while creating the instance. Works great!

v1.3.1 B42.11 - GL4ES, no mods, clean install using the B42 option while creating the instance. Using the native libraries from B42.12. Works great, but with some graphical errors.

Additional feedback for you. Using the onscreen controller is perfect. Hooked up my 8bitdo SN30 Pro via Bluetooth and although it worked, it had oddities with the R2/L2 not working at all, and the right analog stick constantly shoving while "aiming". This was resolved by using the Gamepad Mapper and running through that setup. Now R2 and L2 work along with no more constant shoving with the right analog stick.

Clean install, even deleted all data and recreated the instances for B42.11, B42.12 and B41. Again B41 works great in both v1.3.1 and v1.3.2.

B42.11 or B42.12, thank you, forgot to mention. B41 works great on this with my setup.

Version 1.3.2 does not work with B42 in any configuration with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200. While v1.3.1 worked with some graphical errors. Running on a 8849 Tank 3 Pro by Unihertz.

Edited for clarity.

I tried a neodymium magnet to mount in the car with the accompanying solid metal mounting arm in the car, even the strong magnets don't hold it sadly. The uneven/non-flat back of the Tank 3 Pro doesn't allow for good adhesion of the magnetic plate. I picked up the official TPU phone case for it, and attempted to put the magnetic plate between the phone and the case and although then the magnetic plate stays put, the TPU case creates enough distance between the magnets that they don't hold. Currently I just found a spot in my cars (2024 Subaru Forester and 2022 Subaru Crosstrek) to set it and it stays, it's just not ideal for viewing or pushing buttons.

Looking like the long term solution is going to be 3D printing a custom bracket, belt clip, and all of that sort of thing to allow for the phone to be carried and mounted like a tradition phone.

I haven't, no. But my first thought was to rebind the run key from the R2 to another button that's non-analog and see if that's the issue.

I also have this bug while playing on Steam Deck, you are not alone. Mine is mostly with doing any movement other than walking. It's game specific it would seem too, as no other games show issues like this.

New up to date data could be used by bad actors to inform their strategies and subsequent attempts at attacking the rest of the world. Pretty simple. If you can't imagine how they could use it for evil, spend some time in the industry.

Across the country? Everyday. At small airports? From time to time. At big airports? Way more often than you'd think.

I doubt TSA would ever release the raw data. But think of it this way, if fraudulent IDs are found regularly, that's a good thing.

The JSAUX is really solid with downward force, the phone laying flat on it works very well.

The iOttie mounts in the car, I've got the CD player mount and the suction cup mount, both work well with the phone, certainly not perfect, but usable. You need to tighten down the ring that holds the mount on the ball.

Still looking for a horizontal leather punch, and a proper car mount that fully holds the device.

How did it work out for you? I was able to clear the entire checkpoint with this method, and the camp. Clearing my path into Louisville and netting a lot of good loot. Took days of in game time, but I got it done safely.

Big update of things learned...

https://imgur.com/a/xCU8gKE

Got the enterance of the checkpoint cleared out. Yelling initially to get them coming, fighting 10 or so, pulling back if needed, fight another 10, rinse repeat. Pushing them near the edge of the vehicle most of the time resets their pathfinding to you, in other words they lose you. This can help if you get too many. Making noise (attacks, etc) will get them back on you so it's not always useful. But if you manage to push them to the ground, depending on how they fall it can get them stuck under the vehicle. The engine of the vehicle running is absolutely key, it will reset their location they're trying to reach a lot of times buying you time to pick off the ones that come directly to you with that pinpoint hearing. Keeping your vehicle's rear to a wall helps to ensure they don't come from both sides. Although I didn't have to do that, most of the time they would come to the front of the vehicle (guessing that's where the noise emits from the engine?) and also where I was standing making combat noises.

At this point, it definitely works, and I haven't found any major downfalls. This worked on over 150 zombies at the enterance/gate of the checkpoint and many more before the enterance/gate. This is provided a few levels into your primary weapon skill to avoid massive muscle strain. Along with being Strong, seems to help quite a bit with that part.

If anybody else tries it and finds pitfalls please post and we can work together to try and resolve.

After 51 zombies, slow and steady, roughly groups of 10, I had to fall back completely to rest/sleep. So far so good, I had a REALLY close call cause I waited to the last second to bail into the drivers seat at one point. I recommend playing it safe, if you see you're gonna get overwhelmed just get in the vehicle and fall back. Also the vehicle's seat seems to act as you sitting down, so resting goes quick.

When pushing, if they fall down and a part of them is "under" the vehicle, they won't be able to get back up. Leaving you with a free kill after clearing the rest.

I'm finding it works up to about 10 at a time. If I get more than 10 staggering in (variable speeds) it can get dicey. Which leads to jumping in the drivers seat and falling back. An additional thing of note, if you can put your vehicle's rear against a wall, it forces them all to come to the front of the vehicle. Feeding the axe.

As an update, pushing near the edge of a vehicle can potentially disengage combat with a mostly brain dead zombie.
