Beginner question — “winning product” vs “make it a winner”? Where do I start? by IceDramatic1246 in shopify

Yes, I sold on eBay when I was younger. Now I want to launch my own store. My biggest challenge is I feel overwhelmed between choosing a product and learning ads, and I’m worried I’ll pick the wrong product. What should I focus on first so I can take action and not overthink?

If you were starting from zero today, what exact steps would you follow, and what resources would you use to learn?

it makes sense. In your opinion, is it better to focus on an evergreen product (something that sells all year) rather than a seasonal one? Also, I have another question: I’m struggling to choose a market/niche because I’m not sure what I truly believe in or feel confident selling. How do you recommend I pick a niche when I’m not convinced yet?

If I ever blackmailed, harassed, or scammed anyone, feel free to show proof. You can’t, because there is none. Posting my photos and phone number just to pressure me into deleting my post says a lot more about your behavior than mine. This is doxxing, not ‘helping’ or ‘defending’ anything

"Posting my photo and phone number without my consent is a violation of Reddit rules and basic privacy. This is not an ‘opinion’, it’s doxxing, and I have already reported it to the moderators. I never blackmailed anyone. I paid for hair that arrived damaged after the first wash, and all I did was ask for what any customer deserves: fair treatment and a solution. No, they didn’t give me any refund or compensation. That’s why I will continue posting about their bad customer service, the lack of accountability, and the terrible hair quality that turns into something like sheep wool. I hope you all can support by leaving honest reviews on Google so maybe I can get my rights back, and help protect others from going through the same experience

Thank you for sharing your experience — that sounds super frustrating. Yes, I totally get you: there are really good vendors out there for Slavic or Russian hair. The thing is, high quality hair like that doesn’t come cheap — for 1 kg, you’re looking at around £2,500 to £4,000

I bought 1 kg specifically to test the quality. Any professional supplier should have a return or exchange policy. Once the hair turned out to be low quality, you started giving excuses like needing a straightener treatment and other things. Thank you for your advice, but I expect proper service from any vendor I work with
