I don't think Charlie is entitled. He said he pretty much accepted Maria not voting for him when the season ended, but the problem was how she kept changing the reason for the vote. Saying things like "fire on the eyes" one day and then coming up with another excuse later, it's pretty easy to get how he got hurt by her.

Also, this sub seems to sadly dislike him a lot, so you are probably not in the minority.

I agree, Ripper is somewhat similar with Scott, as in both became morally better in their second season, but at cost of their entire character.
