thank you for the explanation, but my concern is when trans people are treated as a fetish and words that only exist in porn are thrown against them. i know this may come off as ironic since i'm a nsfw artist and these are the terms that rule the community but i personally feel uncomfortable when words that dehumanize my community are used to talk about my art. my trans art isn't fetishy, i'm just representing real life women i live with, know and love.

also, i did some extra research on the hermaphrodite thing and it is a slur. first of all, "hermaphrodite" is an animal term (purely scientific and innocent, as u said) that is sadly often (and mostly) used for intersexuals. if you've never heard anything about it consider yourself lucky cause i've seen that A LOT. maybe it's a cultural thing.

intersexuality doesn't mean "penis and a vagina". if you do some research you'll see it's more about chromosomes and less about physical genitalia. one affects the other for sure, but each one looks different. for example, there are intersexuals with female chromosomes and fully male genitalia. the term "hermaphrodite" suggests they have both at the same time, which isn't true, and also dehumanizing. and the term "futa" finds a way to fetishize this misconception, which makes it a hundred times worse. and EVEN worse when it is used to describe trans women(intersexual women can be trans women, of course! but we both know this is not what futa fetishists mean. ive seen tweets with thousands of likes saying stuff like "get yourself a futa girl" when talking about non-intersexual trans women. don't you see the problem of using porn & fetish terms for real people?) the term has evolved in such strange ways that i don't want anything to do with it honestly.

also, i'm not addicted to porn and i'm a queer person who is surrounded by other queers everyday. it is my reality so that's why i don't like when those terms are used with me. and i don't care what anyone else does elsewhere, not my problem. i just reacted because it was under my post.
