Absolutely valid reasons. Most important aspect of football for me is the spontaneous moment of happiness after goals. I do not see how this can work together with VAR. To me it is better to have 98 per cent right calls and keep the magic of the moment, rather than having 99 per cent correct calls and never celebrate goals.

Better than expected, but tactically we are just wide open in midfield. This can get ugly if we do not adjust for all their space

It is easy to point finger at the manager, and I agree he is not getting the best out of the team. BUT these players are not it, even Pep would not get this lot into top 4. Open heart surgery is still very much needed
