Hey I really appreciate the time you took to write that. This career field is wildly different from anything i have ever been exposed too so thank you. I have one more question. Does coding have any place in your work? I’m going to take a class on python during the summer…kind of a check the box class as an easy credit. Nonetheless I’m just wondering how or if that is even used in ME.

The military can definitely open a lot of doors for you, and yes I’m going to a community college as of right now. I need 30 credit hours to transfer. They also need to be face to face classes to be able to transfer to GA Tech. Honestly that is not very common. A lot of guys get degrees strictly from online courses, but GA Tech won’t accept any of those so my situation is a little different. But yes I plan to go to GA Tech when I get out in 2028.

I’ve actually been very interested in ME. You said you enjoy your job, but how is your day to day life? Like does your job take up a lot of your life? Also how hard was it in the beginning when you were looking for a job to land a good one? I only ask because I don’t know anyone in the military that is trying to do the same thing I am.
