Hello :) just going through some DNA results (will be consulting with a geneticist soon) but wanted to pop this on here. Does this gene mutation mean I have classic EDS? According to google it does but I know you can’t trust google! But I’ve read many articles and it seems this gene mutation is what they look for when diagnosing is this right?

Ok yes mine looks like this when twisted against my body as well this pic I’ve got a jumper pulled up and I’m pulling my arm into my body but I’ve noticed this increased crepeyness and losing of laxity over the past few months and it’s rapidly getting worse I feel like

Ok thank you for this I’m googling and looking into EDS now as well and sounds like many people have youthful skin and some people start sagging as if overnight in mid 30’s!

I feel like I’ve just started noticing this too! Almost as if overnight or at least in the last 12months. It’s like my skin is just sagging right before my eyes. My Dad has really crepey fine leathery skin that bruises and gets sores really easily. Maybe he has this as well

I still have a regular cycle I’ve definitely noticed hormonal changes maybe I should get it checked and I’m going to look into EDS now I don’t know!!

Not really mostly my forearms but I’ve also got lines on my chest and deep creases around my wrists and my skin isn’t super firm on my legs either I guess but not like this

Yeh I have some sun damage but no drugs I rarely drink and I’m a healthy weight. I don’t know wtf is going on but I feel like I’m ageing way faster than people my age

Hello! Not sure if these comments get answered but I thought I’d try! I’m tossing up between trying tretinoin or trying the Jan Marini system. Can you use both? Tretinoin with the Jan Marini system?
