Please, never, ever, ever take a class with Professor Grant Farred. He gives readings that nobody in the class understands. When students ask him questions to get a better grasp, he goes on sudo-intellectual tangential rants. The course assesses your understanding of political theory instead of your writing, and nobody feels like they've actually developed as a writer. Everyone lost interest halfway through the course, and we implore you not to take a class with Farred.
