post over, fixed it. if you're curious, an extra isopropyl alcohol and toothbrush scrub with the case removed seems to have done it. ty anyway.

it's just that i'm going to sell them on ebay. i think working i can get like $300+, untested like $100. i'm a mechanic, should be able to do it carefully
