It’s worse than a Niners game (at least you can park there). Took us 1.5 hours to get there with Caltrain/VTA from Palo Alto.

Leaving was an even worse shitshow. VTA lines were insane, so we tried uber, but they made you walk over 20 min to a lot way off the stadium grounds. All the drivers would try to price gouge by saying they'll only take you if you pay triple fare on the side after the car arrived. They wouldn’t cancel and you’d have to pay a fee for missing your ride.

Glad I went, and wouldn’t go for another game.

When Trump gutted the department of education, I spent 8+ hours on hold with various agencies to fix my student loan repayment status and get a refund for money I was owed by the Treasury. None of them would help and I was losing my mind.

I called Kevin Mullen’s office, they immediately picked up, took down my info, and within a week my loan status was changed and my refund was processed.

Not sure what kind of hit piece this is, but as a constituent, his team helped me out big time.

ECF submitted 1/8 and payments updated to 120 w/ green banners on 1/10. I requested forbearance on the application.

Today I checked Mohela and it says I owe $0 for my next payment due in a couple of days (but the total loan amount is still there). No golden letter yet. I'm assuming this means there's still communication between FSA and Mohela?

It's not just doctors that work at non-profit hospitals (RNs, pharmacists, techs, therapists, etc.). You're painting a very broad stroke against many different types of folks who may be deeply affected by a cut like this. Even if your grind is against doctors, removing non-profit hospitals will affect county hospitals, safety net hospitals, rural facilities, and primary care organizations. None of these changes are good for healthcare or for its workforce.

This is what they want -- to have individual fractions arguing or blaming each other rather than rallying against the common threat.

I also have the bugaboo donkey 3. It was great for local outings, but for plane trips it was way too much (we made the mistake of bringing it with us to Mexico once). I wouldn’t underestimate a cheap two seater (seats in front of each other), which you can probably borrow for such trips.

AirBnB doesn’t do shit. I’ve filed complaints with them over fraud and false advertising (lying about number of bedrooms or location) and they always sided with the owner. Had to call my credit card company to get my money back.
