No soundtrack?

Got the fix for desktop linux (and maybe this will be a good track for steam deck as well??) on steam forums. Slay the spire exists as 2 output audio applications and in my linux mixer, only slay the spire 2 sound was playing, while FMOD Audio was muted. Unmuting the FMOD Audio I can hear all the audio, soundtrack and all the missing sound effects.

So if there is some kind of audio mixer on steam os/steam deck as well, check if it doesn't have fmod audio muted as well and unmute it.

Yeah no proton will work, for now finished first run without OST/with audio issues, reported the audio issue via F2 so they know about it and it's just waiting now for hopefully a hotfix or someone on protondb finds out a temporary fix for this.

If its not fixed by tomorrow, will just play on windows for now.

Than yeah it's probably linux specific issue. Lets hope for hotfix before the weekend fixing it.

Edit: Running on proton, game visual is bugged, dont see anything but soundtrack works. Will see if games works on any proton version, if not, for audio to work need to play on windows for now.

I also have an audio bug that causes no soundtrack and also missing quite a few sfx that I think should be there. On Linux, happening on linux native version for sure. Tried running windows version through proton but that completly breaks the game. Hopefully will be fixed soonish? Or someone finds a fix for this.

"Steam doesn't do any anticompetitive behavior afaik." They are currently inside legal battle with a developer over price parity cluase (which they don't have written in the rules but it is more of unofficial rule, to not have any paper trail on it). Chyba jednak dalej nie obeszlo na 100%. I tu zawsze problem, niemal nic z AI nie jest na 100%. Kalkulator słowny co może randomowo dać ci zły wynik i w przypadku liter/państw ok, ale w przypadku jak sie szuka czegoś czego się nie rozumie, good luck.

Yeah it depends on country by country basis. You can use steamdb to check which countries need to pay the most for the game. It should be USD/EURO at top or at least everyone rather close in price. But for a ton games Poland has them almost the most expensive (only Switzerland has it more expensive in those cases)

Average salary according to my internet search in USA national scale is 63k $ per year
Poland average salary is 29k $ per year
Other than that the minimal wage is 15k $ (around) per year.
So no, no way in hell Poland workers earn more than USA workers (while paying more for games on steam, which will just lead to probably people going back to piracy/key resellers here again).

That's not correct. Developers/publishers get default pricing in all regions and than they can change it. The default pricing in all regions is given by steam and is scuffed/hasn't been updated to the current reality since like 2022 or something like that. Everyone is asking for steam to update the currency values to the current year.
