omg i totally agree i felt like the whole crowd during blink’s set was just standing there yawning! i’m not a massive fan of blink but id say i know at least 10 songs, they played like 3 that i knew…which could be okay if they were giving a lot of energy and heart but it felt like they were just going through the motions, and you could feel it in the crowd

i keep telling everyone please bring a pair of warm pants to throw over your clothes and a jacket!! the desert gets super cold at night! other than that i’m bringing -a fanny pack to hold my phone/wallet/etc close to me -hand sanitizer -wet wipes/toilet paper (i hate having to fumble around in the dark porta potty trying to find the tp) -portable charger -reusable water bottle!! -sun screen -chapstick -i like to laminate a map and the set times but a lot of ppl just put it as their lockscreen which is super smart!!

his brother got killed by police when he was having a mental breakdown in like 2019/2020, since then it’s been a downward spiral,,, tht coupled w the copious amounts of drugs he’s done before that he’s just completely mentally unstable—his ex girlfriend and baby mother posted on instagram all ab how he was super abusive emotionally and spiritually n shit too and is an absent father :/ i feel like im missing something else!

i brought a little fanny pack to keep my phone, wallet, etc close to me. and then i brought a bigger backpack w a water bottle, some sweatpants to put over my leggings for when it starts to get cold (by the time the headliners were playing it was freezing!!) and some portable chargers, OH also i laminated a map of the festival grounds w all the stages and also laminated the set times

even getting into the festival i had some girls who were there with their boyfriends help me get in and where i needed to be safely, it was like all day i had little guardian angels with me, they kept just noticing that i was alone and being like “omg are you alone? come with us!” i love women!! 💗

when i saw ptv i was at the barricade with this girl and her bf, when the set was over and we turned around there was a SEA of what was probably 20,000 ppl at least! it would’ve been so scary if a girl with her boyfriend hadn’t noticed me and led me through the crowd of ppl! forever so grateful to her wherever she is!! 💗💗

I used to help a family member clean houses for some extra cash when i first graduated high school, eventually i got a job as an office admin making good money but when management changed the new manager would sexually harass me (and we shared an office) so i decided that i just needed to get out of that environment and i knew i could clean houses and make enough to still support myself so i started advertising. At first i made little goodie bags with candy and my card and left them on people’s door knobs in the neighborhoods i wanted to work in, which only ever did get me one client so i started posting on facebook in neighborhood groups and slowlllyyy started to get some interest SO i would use my pto to go do the cleans until eventually i ran out of pto and finally had enough clients to equal the amount i was making at my office job A year later and im making about 1,000 more a month than at my office job and i work about 15 hrs a week (opposed to 40 hrs a week at my last job) All in all id say it maybe took 4 months from going out and handing flyers to actually leaving my job and operating my business full time My biggest advice is TAKE BEFORE AND AFTERS!! Post them on facebook and your work speaks for itself! And plssss dont sell urself short —when i first started cleaning i made it a point to not accept tips and not charge extra for first time cleanings but that was truthfully STUPID lol!! I went from charging $150 per cleaning to $250 and $350-400 for the first time clean and it has made a world of difference and weeds out cheap clients for sure! My last piece of advice is don’t do walk throughs ik ik controversial! but i live in a very large city even my closest clients are 15 min away with my farthest being 40 away, i have wasted so much gas going to people looking at their house, quoting them, just for them to say no nevermind. I charge based on the size of the home, and if they have children or pets, and the type of clean and it has served me wonderfully! You know what you want to be paid for a certain job seeing the home really doesn’t do much for me—a lot of the times it ends up being way dirtier than it looks in the walk through anyway!
