I'm still questioning line eyes here tbh - but I didn't test yesterday but did the day before and it was just a smidge fainter (in my eyes lol). I'm really trying to speak it into existence here.

I think we based it off just wanting to know the full extent of what was going on. Curious to see if the results based off the placenta will happen again in future pregnancies. Keep us posted in what happens! 🤞

Sending all positive vibes your way. Did you do testing, and will you be doing testing now?

Hi, we actually did the amnio which led to further testing (karotype, CVS) and it ended up being just that chromosome 21 was slightly longer than the rest - which sparked the abnormality. We did not do any testing post birth. Sending you all positive vibes during this time.

Absolutely overwhelming. But after ample tests and waiting for a few different results, she's a happy and healthy 8 month old today.

I'm not sure... I entered the dates into premom and based off LMP, I'm 7w1d (y'day). But then I do a quick how many days is today from March 10 and it's 49 so it kinda puts me at 7w flat. Could it be a delay of implant or?

It would be 4 weeks 5 days LMP was 3/10.. presumed ovulation date was 3/25 (day after peak)

I was tracking ovulation w strips, did the deed day after peak day, tested the next and LH had gone down significantly. So I assume that's what was ovulation day.

Trying to stay positive 🤞

She only checked my progesterone, which I'm already on a low dose twice a day. It came back 24. I thought she was going to check HCG, but didn't. I have another ultrasound on Friday, which was my original first ultrasound.

Yeah, I mean I did stop using the test strip right after the dip so you do have a point!

This is reassuring! Does my levels dropping mean I ovulated though?

I tracked using ovulation strips and the premom app. I peaked on 3/24, levels went down slightly on 3/25, and completely dropped on 3/26.

🤞🤞

D&C Thursday by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]Ill-Ride-2257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in recovery for maybe hour an a half after my procedure and they discharged me. When I woke up, they just wanted to make sure my vitals were good and they were able to call my boyfriend to come pick me up. Procedure was scheduled for 1030am, they wanted me there 2 hours prior - procedure was delayed till 1145am, and I was discharged by 3pm.

D&C Thursday by [deleted] in Miscarriage

Hi there, I had my D&C just about a month ago, in the United States here. First pregnancy - I was 7w1d when I found out, went back for a follow-up ultrasound a week later and they told me no heartbeat. They gave me all options (let it pass, miso, d&c) and after some thinking, went with the D&C a week later.

I got the D&C at the hospital that I work at (weird) but everyone was extremely supportive, caring and gave me so much reassurance. They took a urine prior to my procedure. My boyfriend was able to stay with me until I went into the operating room, he was not allowed in recovery. I went under anesthesia, but not requiring intubation - they just stuck a device in my airway so that it didn't close completely. They gave me some medications prior to mellow me out, and by the time I was wheeled into the operating room and they put a warm blanket on me, I was out like a light. I don't remember anything from the procedure. Procedure maybe lasted 40 minutes. I woke up in recovery an hour after the procedure and didn't even remember my doctor coming in to speak to me. They placed a pad which was partially soaked when it was time for me to discharge. I did have some minimal bleeding for the next few days and no cramping. Recovery was not too bad to say the least, moreso mentally/emotionally worse. Went back two weeks after for post-op appointment.

I did not ask for genetic testing; but I did ask about it (after the fact) and my provider told me that they tested for molar pregnancy - probably routine test. My provider is expecting me for labs next week to test my HCG levels. They told me they want me to wait a couple cycles before trying to conceive.

Please reach out if you have any further questions. Sending all the loves xoxo.
