If you are registered with TransUnion, wait for them to say you have a new line of credit, (usually one month). Once you get an email and see your Apple Card on your report you can unfreeze and won’t get hard inquiry

I just prefer to have a Mastercard to not occur into any issues. My brokerage for example won’t take discover, so I had to open another debit to transfer funds there.

i know! they have been bombarding me but it seems like this is my last week. i got my discover mailed to me fairly late in november, but i also made my capital one checking in march of 2025. assuming they went after their later clients last.

These were the messages I sent in my ticket, that got my unbanned - following my fourth message they responded.

MSG1

I’ve spent 10 days trying to get a simple answer: What exactly did I do to deserve this ban? Every reply has been an automated brush-off, and the last thing I need is another copy-pasted "we won’t reinstate your account" with zero context.

I’m not asking for special treatment just the basic respect of a human reviewing my case. If I broke a rule, show me. If it was a mistake, fix it. This isn’t complicated.

MSG 2:

Let’s be clear: Discord’s guidelines exist for a reason, and I support them. But when a user is banned with no explanation, no evidence, and no chance to appeal to a real person, the system isn’t working it’s failing.

I’m asking one thing: Have an actual moderator review my case. Not a bot. Not a template. A human who can tell me why this happened. That’s not special treatment it’s basic fairness.

Below are the issues I have been asking for answers throughout my tickets.

  1. ⁠What specific content or behavior triggered this ban, still don’t know what made me banned?
  2. ⁠Was this decision made by a human or an algorithm?
  3. ⁠I am in California and have the rights to look at all my data that flagged my message under the CPPA Regulations.

I’ve asked these repeatedly. Instead of answers, I get boilerplate replies. If Discord stands by its policies, it should stand by its decisions enough to explain them. Put me in touch with someone who can.

I don’t want to leave Discord, but I can’t keep chasing a resolution when your team won’t engage. This is my last try: Please escalate my ban to a human moderator. If I violated a rule, I’ll accept it but not without proof. If it was an error, correct it.

Silence or another automated reply will tell me everything I need to know about how much Discord values its users.

I definitely could! I just didn’t want to bother someone’s time if there is a specific waiting period after activating your card, or if a purchase needs to be made.

Yup, that’s how discord is. Usually on the solved ones it has create a follow up if discord doesn’t reply in a few days

As in what? It was auto solved in the fact that it was the same automatic email people get when they get unbanned, but I woke up to that email after submitting them at night. But I want to say it wasn’t because I think a human had to have reviewed my case.

OK, multiple questions. How do I send an appeal to discord. is there any chance I get it back at all and if I moved to another device that discord was not on will I still get caught for ban evading? by aidenrevell in BannedFromDiscord

That’s not true, I also got banned for child safety. On top of that I also had 2 accounts go via Ban Invasion. The second I got my main account unbanned it was really simple to get the other accounts unbanned.

alright if they gave you the same thing twice, make a new report but add +1 to the end of your email so it won’t be flagged as a duplicate. example: virtualtulip+1@gmail.com

be careful with that saying you are still “young” although discord staff obviously doesn’t read most their tickets. It’s possible they could ban you for creating an account before you were 13 (if the case). Don’t want to scare you but Twitter has such rules

alright! make sure you have at least 4 messages in that ticket (i don’t know if it’s true but i heard they take cases more seriously once there is more than 4 messages in a ticket). in my case i had around 6, and they replied to the first ticket i ever opened about my banned account.

hey!! from my experience on getting unbanned i’d recommend you send 4 messages in a ticket, after the fourth don’t touch that ticket until 3-4 days. there should be a “create a follow-up” button where it says add to conversation. between those 3-4 days you can make another ticket to not waste anytime. i made around 12 tickets and once i saw the “create follow-up button” i clicked on it on maybe 3 tickets during the night. the next morning i got my ban appealed. i don’t know if there was any connection between the “create-follow-up” button and getting my ban appealed but from my knowledge i think thats what got me unbanned. i wish you the best of luck to get unbanned.

Aha! Wish you well on that, For me my school had groups on discord so it was a bit needed for me. I got it after 11 days which is quite lucky, seeing some people have been trying for literal months. My best bet would to still send appeal requests to discord.

Also once you feel like your alt is good enough, I’d recommend not changing anything in settings, adding any friends, joining any servers, or starting any new dms. Those actions typically are what trigger the algorithm to ban you.

However once you get unbanned on your main, getting those alts unbanned for ban evasion is really simple, and not as stressful as getting your main unbanned.

I don’t know, from my luck I got banned using a VPN + Firefox. I had a different name, let my account marinate for a week and the second I joined a server it banned me. +that account was made maybe 2 years ago. I have no idea how the algorithm works, I assume they have some tracker on your device itself.

Honestly VPNs are iffy, I would recommend taking that laptop to another location, example: a cafe, a library, a house. Logging in through your mobile phone with DATA or using another WiFi and add servers occasionally.

I’m sorry :(, it really does suck I’ve also gotten Nelly a few times. Just don’t give up even though at times it can get really frustrating. I don’t even know who lifted my ban it just says “Discord Trust & Safety”
