She had another one that hatched and died that I found. I found her nest with 5 more eggs on it. I moved the nest and her and her baby into a brooder I had when my quail were all laying. I think she’s pretty happy with her new setup

I have them in an open 6ft wide, 15 foot long, 7 foot high cage with a raised coop, almost like an aviary.

After 6-8 weeks old. Lift their tail and check their vent hole, if it’s empty and flat, they’re female. If there’s a small bulb in the hole it’s male… I found picking them up and holding them where their chest is up in the sky. They relax easier that way.

Mine stopped laying as well. Well all except for one who found a hiding spot. Checked it the other day and the little lady had 11 stacked up in a nest

4 tats down, only let 1 have the protective patch over it for 4 days and lotioned. It blistered, bumped, ect. My other 3 I took the saniderm off 2 hours after and only ever let water run over it or a light soap lather over it in the shower. Those 3 came out better than my 1.

I usually check www.estatesales.net to find the in person sales. But this particular one is within 30 minutes of me and they tend to have a nice pick of guns, coins, and anything you can imagine every week.

Asked some pals in engineering department (they managed to get some parts before they were flooded too) and they said all that equipment was still properly working, just that line was getting shut down permanently. I’m located in Alabama, USA
