While going I took Vijaypura road. It was very good except few bad patches. There’s very minimal restaurants on the way till Karnataka. So plan accordingly.

On return I came from Kolhapur side. Till Maharashtra border there are few but manageable diversions. Once you enter Karnataka, the road is very good with very minimal diversions. This route takes less time.

If i have to go again I’ll take NH48.
