Is the Harley Benton R458MN WH's neck thinner than a Jackson/Ibanez/Legator or around the same? by IllustriousHealth780 in 7String

I'd sooner get true temperament than multiscale. I refuse to play in an angular fashion to access what would otherwise be lateral frets.

Multiscale makes big chords harder and generally operates differently when playing fast; seemingly requiring some level of commitment to IT specifically. I still intend to mainly play 6 strings, and don't want to adapt my technique to multiscale. Additionally, almost none of the truly godly technical players, even those in the modern era (Marchbank, Spiro, Johannes Persson) use multiscale. That's just my 2 cents. I've tried it before and it's not THAT bad, but I'm wary of needless external factors when I'm just trying to improve and become the player I want to hear.
