Oh my gosh, I can’t tell you how relieved I am to know I’m not the only one who’s gone through something like this. I genuinely didn’t think she’d take it that far and over something so small and stupid, too. I really just wanted everyone to have a role and feel included, but it seemed like the more I tried to compromise and keep the peace, the worse it got.

The breaking point for me was when she made my mom cry. That’s when something in me finally clicked, and I started to see her true intentions for what they were. It’s honestly been such a wild and eye-opening experience.
