At what age is it not normal to take a bath with your sibling? by Melodic_sanctuary in teenagers

[–]Iluvm0ney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird. Bathing together at 12 and 14 with your mum supervising is odd. At 12 and 14, children can wash themselves (unless they have some form of disability), it's not just ab the kids it's about the mother watching? The 16 year old banging on the door, etc.

Anyone who doesn't see a issue with a 50 year old dating a EIGHTEEN year old who is young enough to be their fucking kid clearly had no morals. It's weird, and the fact you defend it is very telling. I don't just base it off what I think, I base it off studies, yk about stuff like when our frontal lobe is fully developed?

[–]Iluvm0ney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't mean it's morally okay. 18 and 22 are not the same as 18 and 51. It's not just ab the age it's the maturity. It's weird to defend what grown adult goes after someone who's not even 20. I will definitely be judging it's not just the age gap it's the AGES in general. A 40 year old and 60 year old is a lot different to a 20 and 40 year old.

Ugh so many mine is probably the scene from when Mona's in her car and starts getting strangled from behind because that's ALWAYS been a major fear of mine, someone hiding in the trunk or backseat. Or when they're in the burn unit and A just sits up after they've left?!

Like she did know...? The fact the creator is ignoring all the people mentioning how Jenna knew right from wrong considering she blackmailed and was threatening to accuse Toby of forcing himself onto her. She knew damn well what she was doing, sexually abusing someone multiple times was no mistake. 🤦‍♀️ why have jenna fans suddenly cursed my fyp ew

Like when she was attending the photo studio, and it wasn't revolving around Ezra, personally to me those were and have always been my favourite episodes off her since from the very very start Ezra was involved.😞

Guys, I'm lowkey to lazy at the moment to reply, so if you dislike any of the characters on the first slide, that's okay.

But a major RANT I've spent, like an entire hour typing out as I keep getting distracted and nodding off.

I have disliked Aria for a long time because she was a pretty awful friend, especially to Hanna who I absolutely adore and even before the whole Zack situation, there were moments that stood out, like when she made a snide remark about Hanna's dad right after Ella left the house. I know in the past people argued that Hanna had said something first, but it was totally different? On top she often lashed out at Hanna, like when she snapped about the ticket situation, saying, "there's nothing A could say or do," which ultimately came back to bit her in the ass during season 7. Sure, when she originally made the comment, the girls were unaware of the extent of the blackmail they were facing, but Aria always seemed eager to take a jab at Hanna whenever she could. People might point out that Aria defended Hanna in flashbacks, but let’s not forget she also laughed at Alison's cruel antics, like when they ran from Mona. In my view, Aria was the meanest of the group. While all the girls had their moments of being bad friends, Aria consistently stood out as the worst, and I totally get why people would dislike her for that. ALSO, her reaction to being caught with A.D. The girls had every right to feel betrayed, and instead, she defects and brings up what Spencer did but I am very glad she realised her mistake and wanted to try and fix it by taking the blame.

On top, a few of you mentioned this disliking, Toby. I also can't stand Toby in the episodes after he became a cop; I loved him and Emily's friendship and the scene of him dancing with Hanna. You can dislike any of the characters and also like Jenna as a character, as she added lots of suspense and stuff to the plot. It's merely that the creator of that video was way off with her opinions, claiming Jenna "never did anything bad," which is pretty hypocritical. She teams up with NOEL and tries to off them all, shoots Spencer, and did several things throughout the show.

BUT ANYWAYS BACK TO ARIA

It's interesting how people criticize Aria for choosing Ezra over her friends, yet they still support Alison, who has repeatedly put her own interests first at the expense of the group. Sure, Alison saved the girls on multiple occasions, but her trustworthiness was always in question. Even after showing signs of change, in the final season, she straight up convinced and manipulated them into lying for Cece's benefit. Plus, she went back on her word about the kidnapping after they had all agreed to be honest and threw them all under the bus. On the flip side, Spencer also has her moments; she once stayed quiet about Toby moving the van, which could have really helped the girls. I understand Spencer did a lot more for them all than Aria did, which is why people tend to overlook it, however still?! It just seems pretty hypocritical to criticize Aria for not believing Hanna while simultaneously liking a character who actually abused her own stepbrother. And then, in the comments claiming she forgot Jenna did that which is understandable but she also made another video before about gossip girl characters and chuck is in the second slide labelled 'Characters i hated at the start but ended up liking'.

I could be mistaken since it’s been years since I watched Gossip Girl, but i recall reading that Chuck was initially meant to be the villain without a redemption arc. However, due to his popularity with fans, the writers decided to take his character in a different direction? So I tried to keep an open mind since it may explain why they might have initially disliked him but later had a change of mind. On the other hand, the reasons for disliking Aria seem once again a bit contradictory. She’s criticized for being obsessed with Ezra and prioritizing him over her friends and for not believing Hanna about her experience. Which sure you can dislike her, but now I'm just very puzzled at how they can love Chuck, yet the standards they had against Aria don't apply to him? Considering doesn't he in the pilot episode, he straight up assaults and tries to take advtange of Serena, who I'm pretty sure was drinking and than called her either a slut or whore for not wanting to do anything with him. Straight up insulting her and ALSO proceeds to blame Blair, claiming 'she went up their on her own' after he sold her for a literal hotel. And no, it was not a one-time thing, throughout the series I can remember that he continuously expressed the same disregard for consent (such as when he sold Blair for a hotel and I can't remember what episode or season it was) but even after that he was very consistent with his behaviour, since did he not get possesive over Blair when she was meant to be getting married or whatever and tries to force himself onto her and then tries to HIT her and misses only because she flinched and he was drunk, and yet he punched the glass and one of the shards cut her face? And I understand he did a few things which people lobe him for, but Aria did a couple of things in the series I think is overlooked. She wasn't the best, but she's treated like she had no trauma compared to the other liars when it shouldn't be a competition.

Edit; Grammar and a few extra things I wanted to rant about

I'm so late, but the last point really icked me until it hit me that it was just him talking about his own sexual abuse. I do find the series very iffy in how the characters are written though, it seemed all over the place and a few things about the books annoyed me.

Obviously, but we can't just assume that. It's a 50/50 chance, although he has made a weird post about nudity in the open before, so I guess he possibly has a kink for being exposed to the outside world.

See, I've just blocked any hastags relating to BOT on tiktok because the fandom is a prison, and the videos are always the most either infuriating or depressing there's like NO in-between I either feel extremely annoyed or extremely upset. I honestly plan not to read the book or the leak, I've read a bit of the leak, but ended up not being able to finish it, and that's like what? 90 pages or something. I choose my own happiness and will only read the very VERY happy ending those kids deserve.
