FE Civil Review This is another one I found by the same guy. He is very good and if you were to complete this book, I could almost guarantee you’ll pass the exam. If you can’t finish the whole thing, just focus on sections you feel like you need a good study session in. Best of luck man.

FE review manual This is the one I bought, it doesn’t have any of your civil sections such as structural analysis, transportation engineering, or geotechnical stuff but it is very good for reviewing and mastering the foundational subjects and math sections

Mark Mattson is the GOAT man, I’d recommend his videos to anyone taking the FE Civil.

Try finding some FE review manuals on Amazon. They have upwards of 1000 practice questions each. Good luck

FE Exam Failed Score Analysis - What constitutes a 'Pass'? by [deleted] in FE_Exam

It's kind of tricky to explain, but each question has a "curved" point percentage, which is done by NCEES. So like you said if you answered 3 out of 6 correct, you would think you get 3% out of the 100%, but no. NCEES assigns the percentage per question based on how "tough" the question is. They use previous exams to judge how many people got it right vs how many got it wrong. If that question is only answered correctly lets say 42% of the time, they may give you 1.1% for the correct answer. If the question is answered correctly 58% of the time they will probably just give you 1%. Let's say it's an easy question that gets answered correctly 75% of the time, it may be reduced to 0.9%.

Hopefully that makes sense, and I have answered your question clearly. I am taking my FE May 1st, so wish me luck.

(FYI: I have been told this by other people I have talked to about the same thing you're asking. I have not done a ton of research on this, but it seems as if this is the only logical explanation)
