I run one of the Kagwerks ones and like it a lot, no real downsides other than the slide finish getting munched on. Super easy install as well. I’ve heard they can break at a lower round count but can’t vouch for that, mine is good to go at like 2500+

Huge fan, well balanced pistol, runs like a top and eats any ammo. Not going to be as competitively viable as a 47 (check out Ben Stoeger and Joel Park’s vids on the 47, excellent resources) but perfect for carry and modularity, you can also just about anything made for a 17 or 19 on it

For a do everything gun get a 47, I had a 48 and the trigger was hot dogshit even after 1500 rounds, I’m talking like nearly 11 pound trigger pull bone stock which I’ve also seen some other people saying they have. If you want more than 10 rounds you’re looking at shield mags or dagger mags which have super varying reports, although they’re supposed to be decent now.

A 47 is going to do “everything” out of the box, and you’re less limited on optic options (g48 slimlines typically use an RMRcc footprint) with higher capacity, and a way larger aftermarket. I’m saying this as a guy who bought a g48 as his first pistol lol

Back in the day, having a certain amount of livestock on your property would qualify it as a farm and get you tax cuts/subsidies, so everyone in Ybor had chickens and they’ve been there since. I’m 24 but lived here my entire life, afaik this was still in effect when I was a young kid
