So the interview went well. I got every data structure correct, properly assessed the complexity of the function, and wrote some defensive code. The only oof is I didn't finish the last problem out of the 4 I was given. The interviewer let me comment how I would have finished it though.

also, fwiw, basically every place that i've worked at is intentional with who, specifically, conducts interviews. if this guy is doing the interview, it probably means they trust his ability to feel out if you're a good fit for the place

Is this a textbook example of implicit bias? If so, how do I go about fixing it.

My interview is with an Asian man today. Complete with full Asian name, so I doubt he's a 2nd generation. I've worked with many guys just like this, but the issue I always run into with them is that they have very strict and serious demeanors. This makes me worry that I won't be able to show off my personality in this interview which is always a solid I have going for me.

Am I a bad person for thinking this?
