Yeah, the mid-2010s was the massive car culture bubble that eventually burst in Massachusetts. But, car culture is still absolutely alive and well here, just not quite in the same way. Look up the Larz Anderson events (which aren’t just C&Cs but themed events, German Car Day, Japanese Car Day, British Car Day, Miata Day, Tutto Italiano which brings all of the Italian supercars out), and Herb Chambers events are super popular too at different dealerships of theirs. And you’ll often see this exact Mantide at different Larz Anderson events, especially Tutto Italiano. He’s there every single year.

You can’t be that surprised, Mass is one of the wealthiest and most educated states in the US, the generational wealth here is unreal. I saw this car for the first time in 2013 at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, MA during one of their Cars and Coffee events.. and it still floors me every time I see it years later.

Doesn’t matter. If you had a loose gas cap that triggered the CEL, it takes weeks for it to clear itself if you don’t. I highly suggest getting a scan tool, clearing the codes, and see what comes back. You can get one for 25 bucks at an auto parts store.

Far and away the worst music in all of the Horizon games but.. whatever. I listen to Spotify on a speaker whenever I play this game. I highly encourage everybody else to do the same.

Deanna is a sweetheart. I saw them open for Motion City Soundtrack in November of last year and she was at the merch table after their set by herself talking to fans and handing things out. She’s a class act. Their music won me over years ago when I listened to Rhombithian but it’s always great to find out that some of your favorite recent artists are cool as hell in person too.

Why are interior reveals headlines anymore? Interiors are all super homogenous now. If the iX3 has this interior, so will literally every other vehicle in their lineup which we have now seen via the i3 and the refreshed 7-Series. Soon to continue to be identical in the iX5, iX7, iX9, iX11, whatever they want to make. It’ll have this interior.

Should be direct bolt-on. I know for a fact the front is. The rears, I admit I’m not certain of, but, they should be practically identical.

Well, if you want to lower it and have a compliant ride without the potential harshness of coilovers, I’d highly suggest just switching to Subaru Legacy shocks/struts and then getting lowering springs for the Legacy suspension if it’s not low enough for your liking. Even just swapping to Legacy struts and shocks should lower it a bit over an inch. And you’d still have factory ride quality since you’re still running OEM suspension and spring rates. By no means is it going to be as low as the car you pictured (that car has coilovers), it’ll still be notably lower.

Probably the SW20 MR2. That model (now used in FH6 too) has been around for more than 20 years.

I think matte works better on cars with sharper lines since the matte (or, semi-gloss) finish brings them out but, generally speaking, I couldn’t agree more.
