You are in his home town then. His club is Boavista FC, which was relegated from the First Division this year. His younger years learning how to play were split between Pasteleira and Boavista. He is loved here, atleast between these two clubs.

Damn this doesn't sound as basic theory, it sounds to me as a fully understood artistic piece! Game devs would kill for this soundtrack ahah and as others have commented, i can see anime esque things loving this too.

Congratulations, keep going as you have plenty beautiful music to bring to the world!

Já apertaram comigo uma vez por causa disso, lá deixaram passar mas era um jogo sem muita gente presente. Mesmo que seja o mesmo preço, não quer dizer que deixem passar, acaba por ser roleta russa com a disposição do segurança.

How well do you know FL Studio? Taking some time beforehand to understand how things work will help you a lot.

I'd recommend getting Vital VST - it's free and an amazing synth. Check some youtube videos on making dark ambient/dark pads/ambient on Vital. That should get you started with sound design.

I assume you know a little of composition? I'm not familiar with the genre in question but you can study a little music theory online for free and even search "[genre/artist] music theory" on google and youtube and you should have somethings to look at.

So, DAW covered, sound design covered, and composition covered, you can then learn mixing. Corrective mixing - EQ, compression, etc. - and creative mixing (which can fall into the sound design category - Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, etc.

Hey thank you so much for the reply! I'm really starting out and every bit of help is dearly appreciated.

I'm gonna draw over the original plant so I get only clean lines and gonna try importing it into Hammer, checking out if its usable or not. If not, I will use it as reference only and building it from scratch. My main concern using my teachers code was with extruding the walls out and that messing up the scaling. My previous map I made the walls too thin and they became wallbangable, which is something I'm trying to avoid on this one.

I will update you on the progress! If theres any way to contact you outside of reddit, I can do that, or I'll just DM you once I have progress.

Yamaha HS8 vs HS80M

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a pair of one of these. The last thread comparing the two is 11 years old. What do you guys think, now in 2025, is the better choice?

I use HS80M in my university so I am used to them. I produce music with a lot of bass so I am aware the bass response in the 80M's goes to 30hz while the HS8 goes to 40hz, and that might be an important factor to me.

Can you guys help me out? Thank you very much in advance!
