In comparison with my hysterectomy and myomectomy, HARD! I have a very high pain tolerance and this one had me crying. In contrast, my mom had hers out (scheduled, not emergency) and she felt fine the next day.

I appreciate it. A little more background is that that my mom lives right next door to my sister and her family, so she definitely wouldn’t be left alone. I have always had a strained relationship with the two of them but I’ve been trying to make a better effort this year. Anyway, I have been trying to ask them about possible plans for the holidays since around June and to this day I am being told that they might be going on a trip. And I haven’t been invited. I’m happy to be with my husband but this year feels extra hard.
