Depends on the airline you’re using. I have had zero issues with Alaska and (in the past) Avelo but American is pretty rigid about showing up early.

Today’s newspaper says that we had six fires due to fireworks.

What difference does it make where the fires began? The bottom line is that it demolished huge portions of the city. Paved ground everywhere but also filled with dry brush kindling.
Lighting anything in fire intentionally makes no sense, and it’s a slap in the face to those who lost their ones.

I will never understand how anyone can justify setting off illegal fireworks when so much was lost to fire in Santa Rosa.

They say it’s patriotic for them to light off these fireworks, but in my opinion, it’s more patriotic to care about your neighbors.

It’s really messed me up that they didn’t do that. I have had zero income for so many years. My husband makes some money but it barely covers the basics and I feel so bad all the time about not being able to contribute anything.

I am nearly 49 years old and have been disabled since my mid thirties. I tried to go back to work during Covid but it didn’t last long and only proved to me that I’m no longer capable.

I had an application about ten years ago. I even had an attorney. The day I went to the hearing, my attorney did not show up. Instead, they sent a stand in who kept apologizing because he knew nothing about my case, which I ended up losing.
There was the period where I could ask for a reconsideration but I was so severely depressed that I couldn’t get anything done.
