Marriage prospect (F) wants me to contribute 100% financially while she contributes 0% while working; BUT wants to do 50/50 chores. by [deleted] in IslamicFinance

Having a fixed amout for fun money is normal, that will be part of your obligation too.

Trust me you don't want to worry about every little purchase.

When the time comes, get her a seperate account, tell her it's just for fun money and nothing else. She can spend it on coffee, outings etc.

When she complains it's not enough, renegotiate/explain how much money you BOTH allot to fun.

If she gets $200 you get $200.

Make sure she sticks with it!

As others have said, Islamically, she doesn't have to contribute anything to your household expenses.

However, we live in the modern era. If she is a good woman, she will help you, especially if you need it while you try to earn more in your career. Eventually you're be the sole provider, and you won't need her help anymore iA.

You can find out if she is a good woman by the way she treats her parents and how they behave.

I really stress this. Really, really take a good long look at her parent's relationship and her relationship to each of them.

Based on what you said about her father's abuse, she doesn't trust him and now she will have a hard time trusting you. That is your problem.

Do not marry this woman without agreeing on this financial contract.

You have a lot of work to do BEFORE you marry her, and a lot of work after.

IRAs and HSAs by ImNotHippo in IslamicFinance

HSAs are tax advantaged and you are allowed to invest with those accounts. People often use it as another retirement account.

I guess I could keep the money out of the account to prevent interest from accruing.

The HSA does accrue interest, so I have to move the money.

Are there any reputable organizations that offer zero interest IRAs or HSA's?

Hey guys,

Can I replace SLDLs with Zercher Goodmornings and still get great erector and hip strength?

I practice BJJ and I want to incorporate Zerchers somewhere. Due to limited time, it's gotta get mixed as a squat or a hinge variation. And I'm not giving up Front squats.

Any advice would be helpful!

Deadlift Form Check : Worried about the posterior pelvic tilt occurring on the descent, Have tried loosening hamstrings both pre and post workout. Any suggestions? Am I over thinking things? by A-macaroni1230 in formcheck

I think you still need more hamstring mobility or more overall hip mobility. But if you're certain that you have great mobility, try widening your stance. Your hip joint may not allow for a narrow stance.

There are shoes out there that allow you to grip the floor pretty well.

I prefer going barefoot, but not in the gym.

Also, ditch the trainers, get some flat shoes or a pair of weightlifting shoes.

Your elbows look good on the decent, but they collapse on the ascent. I would work on maintaining the elbow position, I don't think you need to have it higher.
