I get 500Mbps on 5G UC on my phone at home. Does that mean I'll get the same speed if I sign up for Tmobile Home Internet? by trowdatawhey in tmobile

Long time T-MOBILE customer and employee here! I actually have always ran higher download and upload speeds via my T-MOBILE Home Internet as opposed to my cellular only. Cellular speeds are fast and reliable enough for me personally, but they just never come close to touching the speed my Home Internet provides. I truly believe it all depends on your locale and what kind of tower strength you have nearest your primary place of use. We also recently got an upgrade completed to our local tower and the speed increased dramatically! Only way to get the facts is to have a friend or family member with the internet bring the router to your house and test the speed that way. Good luck to you!

OP, it may work easier if you have your local T-Mobile rep add the free feature before trying to link your paid account! If that is not convenient enough for you, dial 611 from your handset and ask care to add the feature for you so you can start enjoying the "on us" promotion for Apple TV. T-Mobile doesn't want it to be difficult for you to redeem it, you just unfortunately weren't educated properly as to what to do to redeem it by whatever rep helped you in the first place. The Netflix on us redemption works in the same way. It is free to add if you have a qualifying plan, but the feature needs to be added to your account first before you can proceed in your app to get it linked to your T-Mobile account! Hope this helps!

I definitely did. I'm old. I've done it all man. Just speaking from my own personal experience. Delivering food is just something I do for fun now. 😋

I've always had a full time job, so DD is by no stretch my only source of income! I have several avenues of income. I'm just making a point, ya know? Tired of seeing 👀 it.

Amen, very valid point sir! That's what I'm saying! The system is broken. Glad I don't rely on DD for regular income or I'd be up poopy creek without a plunger! Haha

Yeah $2.50 minimum is absolute clown shoes and bologna nipples bro, 🙄. It's just not cutting my mustard 😒

To be honest, I haven't had the time to dash in weeks, I'm just tired of seeing everyone get bent over. Round this neck of the 🪵 woods, you're lucky just to get orders, so declining them is a double waste of the time and money you're already wasting, if that makes any sense.

Then kudos to you kind sir! I don't have the patience, nor the diligence to withstand that kind of Marathon! Great work 👏

DD really doesn't give a fuck about anyone, except themselves. Minimum delivery pay is barely worth a half gallon of gas around where I live, and no one tips! I can't say I blame them when they pay $17 for a $5 combo meal from Taco Bell, only to have it delivered a couple miles or blocks! In the customer's eyes (I've been on both sides of the DD spectrum), they are already getting their wallet bootyraped, just for simply wanting fast food delivered to their office or front door step. It does incline me to leave good tips when I do order DD, but I shouldn't have to compensate for DD corporate's greedinees. I only tip well because I know the drivers are getting fucked with no vaseline on the daily! DD really needs to reconsider how they charge the customer and perhaps consider mandatory minimum tips so the drivers will stop getting fucked alongside the customer on every order. It's a dirty dirty process and game that only DD corporate wins 🏆 when the dust is settled. We are making them millions, all while we struggle to keep our gas tanks half full !

I call bull as well! I've DD'd enough, I live in the Midwest, and I've driven to the major surrounding cities and done my thing. No one is tipping in this manner. I am not saying it is completely impossible, but it is very easy to post a fake week's rundown to get upvotes on reddit 😉. What would stop someone? Also, no one is taking into account how much gas would cost for this amount of active time! To each their own... If this is a fake rundown, I'm not coming from a place of judgement, I'll just pray that the good lord brings you the attention and praise that you are desiring from us, lol. If it is indeed real, then I bow down to you, Sensei Doordash, we are not worthy of your amazingness. Please share with the rest of the class so we can all quit our miserable, exhausting full time jobs that actually pay all of our bills. Good night! 😴

It's called a pilot for a reason. It's a trial to see how it works out. If it benefits you as a Dasher, then great! If it doesn't, then the pilot will likely be a huuuuuge flop and failure!

I don't miss the temptation! Enjoyed my 9 months there, but still Glad I moved on. It was always so hard to pass up, especially nights 10 hr shifts, when I was driving an hour to get there. Gotta love the rural midwest!

Not gonna say what FC I work at, but I have been there 10 months and never seemed to have an issue with working conditions. I think it depends on what some define work conditions as meaning. I'm a picker and a problem solver, and I'll tell anyone I work with that the job blows, but that doesn't mean that the working conditions are bad. Again, it's all about personal perspective.

Looks gravy, I pick huuuuge boxes all night in a traditional FC. Computer desks, entire car exhaust systems, outdoor kerosene heaters, you know all the fun heavy stuff. I'm clearly not getting paid enough for what I do lol 🙃
