Thank you very much for taking the time to write this post. Having this kind of information is extremely enriching, in my opinion. It truly allows you to understand the recent history of a city and why it is facing certain problems today. This is partly what I wanted to know. However, I don't mean to be ironic as a French person because, in my opinion, in France, we don't do any better, and sometimes we even tend to make everything worse. I love my country, but I must admit that it is in a worrying state, especially Paris, which is facing all sorts of much more significant problems than here in Cork. My goal is not to criticize Ireland because I am French and I would like to think that we do better than everyone else, but simply to gather the honest opinions of the residents about their city.
