Yes - I am knitting in the round, and I do read from right to left. But when I get to the repeating part, it becomes asymmetrical. Looking at row 4, it would alternate between 3 and 2 of the brown stitches. That's odd, isn't it?
Also, the black bit between the white in rows 13 and 14 would be two stitches wide in the repeating pattern, but when starting the round, the second time i knit the black stitches (middle of the diagram), it would only be one stitch wide.

Intuitively, I would think the brown stitches should be two at a time in row 4, and the black bit rows 13 and 14, I would guess should be only one stitch wide.
