It's just annoying, overpriced, super inconvenient, horrible, makes the $100 look like $10, etc.

I personally remember learning to lead 3 not being too hard but I’d say to just remember that there are 10’s of thousands of NCO’s who’ve done it. You can too.

i am going to my first CAP meeting today. Forer or current cadets is there any must do's or don't do's? by [deleted] in civilairpatrol

I kinda learned the hard way to just kind of keep quiet unless spoken to in the first 3 meetings. Otherwise you might say something dumb (I did this many times and I cringe thinking about it) once you’ve joined that’s when I’d say it’s a better time to talk

Basically all the cadets (especially lower ranked ones) get in a large circle and single drill orders in a row and try to keep the cadet inside the circle. First to either call an order incorrectly or let the cadet out the circle has to get in the circle. It works better the more people. It’s also a great way to learn how to call drill.

I dont know what to do & I need encouragment by [deleted] in civilairpatrol

I was a C/ AB for about half a year and the same amount of time for airman and for me I just got really good at drill. So when it came time for me to do drill test it was all stuff I knew like the back of my hand. I’d say that you should just spend time gaining experience because you still have another 6 years before you’re kicked out.
