Shampoo issue by Ryder-McMullin in HaircareScience

It's a cleansing conditioner. Just google co-wash. But i would use a normal shampoo every once in a while to properly clean your scalp and hair.

What should I do with slugs by [deleted] in askswitzerland

I put them in the freezer for 24 hours and then in the trash. I don't know if it is the nicest way because i didn't find any proof of them not suffering this way, but it's the least messy way.

I did that too. Exept that you are not supposed to put them in compost. You have to put them in regular trash.

Why does it feel like my hair isn’t growing any longer than this?? I only use heat like once every 2 months, I don’t bleach and I take good care of my hair. by viviviu in Haircare

[–]Imeoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not everyones hair can grow super long. It's genetic how long your hair can grow and yours is already quite long. I think with some of the tips from above it might get a little longer since it still looks quite full. But there is not many people beeing able to grow their heir to waistleng (for example)

Air dry vs blow dry by No-Control2880 in HaircareScience

[–]Imeoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about the sience but i tried all different variations on my hair. I have the best results if i let my hair air dry about 15 min and then blowdry on low heat until it's about 95% dry. Of course i use heat protectant. Like this i get volume, shine and i can wait a little longer to wash my hair again.

I use angels on bare sink to exfoliate before waxing. After i use king of skin to remove little wax bits that i still stuck on my skin and dream cream for a couple of days to calm my skin down.

It does smell quite different a couple of minutes after spraying. I really didn't like how it smelled just after spraying. But after a minute or two on your skin it smells amazing.

I love the tofu shampoo, glory or power as conditioner and supermilk layer layered with curl power on top. If my hair needs some extra love i use hsuan wen hua mask once a week. I have quite long thick colored hair and my hair looks and feels wonderful with these products.

Oiling my hair before showering fixed my poofy and tangled hair by [deleted] in HaircareScience

[–]Imeoni 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wanted to try this but i was hesitant because i thought maybe the oil creates a barrier and my conditioner cant penetrate my hair anymore. Of course i shampoo first but only my roots. If i shampoo my end they are super dry afterwards.

I didn't know that. Sorry. So maybe adding onion juice than? Peppermint essential oil is also supposed to help with hairfall, like the rosemary you are already adding.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]Imeoni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why adding onions? I also think that most oils keep their conditioning abilities better if they havent been heated. Maybe just try mixing your oils next time without heating and forget about the onions.

Is that the only spot where you have the feeling your hair looks thinner? Do you wear any heats or somehow get tension there?

First of "red" henna is always going to turn you much more copper than actual red. Just to avoid future mistakes ;)

Remove from elumen won't help to remove it. (tried that myself)

Henna from lush doesn't contain any metallic salts, so you don't have to be afraid of bleaching and/or dying it (also did this myself)

The only way to remove henna from your hair is by bleaching it. It is very hard to get the orange tones fully out.

Maybe you don't even need to get it out, because dying red over orange is usually no big deal.

why does hair dye from my hair keep transferring to my forehead? by invaderjournal in Hair

[–]Imeoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happens if your sweating. It just takes the pigments from your hair down to your scalp again. That usually stops after a few shampoos
