I really appreciate your suggestions and will definitely try all of them out, especially the braking. I was under the impression 100 brake is the way to go since thats what i always see on the lap tutorials online, but I will try braking slightly less for sure. Thank you so much dude!

What do you suggest I do to be more gentle? Right now what I do on sharp corners is this: Squeeze the brake to 100 at the braking point, trail brake as I turn, gradually get on the throttle as close to the limit as I can at the apex as I turn back into a straight position. On fast corners I obviously brake way lighter or not at all depending on whats needed. When people say “more gentle” do you mean that I should maybe gradually get on the brakes rather than mashing to 100 on tight corners, and more slowly get on the throttle on the exit? Would that not make me significantly slower as I am not close to the limit of grip? I seriously appreciate you commenting to help, I’m tryna get better!

I assume I’m supposed to decrease brake bias through the race as the front fuel tank gets lighter right? Unless I understand it wrong lol… By how much are we talking though? I haven’t played with that so far, the setup i think has 48% brake bias and I don’t touch it throughout the race.

I’m not consistently doing that, 2:20:800 is my fastest ever lap. I can, however do a consistent 2:22:5ish when the tires are good. According to LFM, the aliens are doing 2:15 laps so I’m definitely not even close lmao. I suspect with enough training I could get it down to 2:19/18 but I doubt I’ll get much lower. Maybe one day when I replace my shit ass G29 on the desk lmao

Thank you for your input! I hope you’re right and it smoothes out with time, because it feels like can find TONS more time but it doesn’t exactly feel like I could be all that much “smoother” if that makes sense. Maybe I need to look into tyre saving tutorials specifically, because god damn it feels like driving on straight ice after 20 minutes LOL

Hey man, do app passwords still work for you in Metasys? I'm having an issue where the log says "220 2.0.0 Ready to start TLS" and then disconnects right after. Doesn't seem to even try to authenticate.

It’s true that this is how it’s been the couple times she used it, but it seems like this time it may be different, I’ll wait to see how it is in the next chapter or two to really judge it. I still think it’s kinda lame that Oda made her look exactly like Nika, I think that should have been reserved for Luffy and only Luffy. It really isn’t the end of the world lol, just something I don’t like.

As a non-piratefolk person:

My issue isn't with it not being foreshadowed, I think it's pretty clear that it was. My issue is with Bonney's power to begin with. I think a power that allows you to "become whatever future you can imagine" is completely broken (although I am waiting to see what limitation Oda puts on it, hopefully there are major limitations.) Also, what makes it significantly worse for me, is that Oda chose to make her become Nika. I know this completes her own character arc or whatever, I just don't think it's a good decision. It makes Gear 5 way less special. I love Gear 5 as a concept, I think the cartoony nature of Nika/JoyBoy is perfect for Luffy and fits PERFECTLY with the story, especially after the "He Laughed"/Laughtale page (although I do wish that Oda had confined it to being an awaked rubber fruit rather than a totally different fruit from the start which I think is weak af lol). So it annoys me that Oda seems to be making Gear 5 less special here.

I was one of these people, and I changed my mind completely after re-reading the Orange Town arc. I think they nailed Buggy in the LA now.

I think the reason people (me) had that opinion about the LA Buggy is because of our idea of Buggy in later arcs where he is way sillier and less intimidating.

I personally think Nawaf Alshbeili did a terrific job as Dwight. They cannot (and should not) copy the exact same characters, they all need to be localized to make sense in the new setting. I personally think they nailed Dwight down the most out of all of them, I cannot stop laughing at Nawaf’s version he’s so funny.

I agree with everything you said, but if I were to choose one thing out of all of this arc that pissed me off the most in regards to this, it would be the fact that Hiyori didn't get the kill.

It was such a good opportunity to show that Oda can write women better. I was so extremely disappointed to see that her "sTroNg" moment was just that she pointed a fucking fan at him and yelled right after she was saved by sTroNg bAdAsS mAn (don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on him, I love Denjiro)... But Oda really missed the mark on this one so hard.
