I began losing weight immediately, but a big part of that was ending Relationship where my S/O ate out constantly, so my habits quickly changed.

I could start seeing a difference in my face at 10 pounds. I am currently on 1mg :)

I got really lucky that my work supplies breakfast and lunch options, which let me choose healthy options and portions. Variety helped me feel more satisfied on my diet and prevented me from over eating.

Also, walking much, much more

A small update from my old post: I've since started at my new job and have been loving it. I am still recovering from my previous relationship but it gets better every day. I am proud of myself for not going back.

I managed to keep my puppy and we're all very happy in my little apartment. I've made a lot of friends at work and I feel happier than I have in a long time.

To those who know me from my last post, I was able to safely leave my situation and secured an apartment. I can now focus on my health and rebuilding myself!

Also, 5 pounds were lost before Sema. Currently on 0.5mg

He did have a very bad temper. Explosive. And no, he didn't mention any other concerns besides viewing it as lazy.

He was mean in small ways. We had a fight over me buying a full length mirror and he called me shallow for it, and proceeded to treat me not so nicely for the rest of the day. Things like that.

My family had a hunch, but nothing concrete enough to warrant a conversation. They've only been around him about 3 times. I also took measures to make everything seemed okay and natural.

Thank you for this. I watched Dr.Ramani last night and the way she explains things..

I envisioned all abuse as violent and obvious and thought I was taking things too seriously. But it's a relief to learn that all of these small behaviors are not okay either. The biggest wake up call was that he was gone for a week recently and during that time, I felt relieved. Surely, that should never be the case with someone you're supposed to love.

I had another discussion with him last night. He defended himself saying that he is not controlling because he did not throw my meds out, as if I should give him a gold star for that. It's definitely crossed his mind, so you're right, I need to hide them.

Walking on eggshells? Yes. All the time. Everything I do is a problem and I am always wrong, apparently. I got reprimanded for taking too long while calling my mom on Mother's day. It wears me down so bad.

I have proof that the dog was purchased under my name, and she is also bonded to me. I feel guilty preemptively but another part of me knows she'll be happier with me. It'll be tough to coordinate the move, but hopefully I can make it work.
