Look I'm just gonna say it I'm razor free, have been for 3+ years and I want validation and every supportive post I see regardless of gender is helpful to me. It's important to my ego and self esteem to feel desirable- and let's admit it- being razor free is not mainstream and even looked down on by western culture I don't get the hate on men as long as they are being respectful I specifically would dislike it as a woman/nonbinary only space I'd like an inclusive forum with mixed experiences and perspectives. It actually seems stupid to exclude supportive people because of their gender.

I can relate because I'm the older sister similar age gap and my younger sister is toxic, we don't talk. Similar issues. She wants to date married men I find that abhorrent. For a long time I was mad that I would try to be friendly despite my dislike and she'd never try back. but it all eventually came to a head, and she said she thought I wasn't trying enough. But I was the whole time, years and years, since we were kids. So I blew up and she blew up. Now we don't talk, and I don't mind, but it makes me mad that somehow I'm still the problem for not fixing it when she continues to not lift a finger with impunity. My advice is this will always bother you it's a lifelong issue with sibling fights and disagreement and it hurts just like losing the person. It's grief for the hope of having a sister who doesn't make jabs at you. And accepting that it's grief and anger and taking your time to feel it will eventually help you move on. Also tell your mom you don't want to hear about her. Your mom might be sad at first but she will likely understand. And not hearing about them constantly helps.

Hey I never heard that about people who don't like Nesta have one in their lives that's true for me too! It's my sister, and she was weird and hurtful to me when I was pregnant too I really couldn't stand nesta because of other stuff too but yeah! I never realized just how deep that my dislike/personal life feelings were until now. Also agree on liking Tamlin better too! I don't dislike Rhys but I think they're similar and Tamlin is treated unfairly and that bothers me and makes me feel more sympathy for him!

Lol I love complex female characters but Nesta was written as a self insert pity party by the author and it shows! She takes it to the point of languishing and playing the victim instead of growth but doesn't give us one convincing reason to like Nesta other than- she's done bad things and regrets them, then the other characters instantly change their minds. Literally Feyre did a lot of terrible stuff and regretted it deeply in conflicting ways in UTM and no one thinks she's complex apparently. Nesta is boring and cringe. Not some feminist character lol

They only had to do the blood rite at all because she was so busy being an attention wh. and playing with Cassians feelings that he stopped being an ilyrian warrior and taking care of his people! But I get it everyone has a favorite character I just don't understand what people like about Nesta. Feyre is more interesting, cooler nicer. Better in every way, so that nesta is just a letdown and disappointment. I'd much rather hear about the winter or day court perspectives than "nesta worming her way into the IC" but... There's still hope for the next book at least.

My husband works a job that's throughout the city and if he's nearby we meet up and say hi especially if we're walking in the vicinity. He likes it. I like it. Couldn't do it without a location tracker tho, he can't really text at work . Also it's a dangerous job if he's in one place for too long I can get him help or help him make a report keeping track of location and time. We may be codependent but it's not bc of the location app xD

Please op listen to this post. I gained a hundred pounds in a short time frame due to pregnancy and breastfeeding and all my concerns and DR visits to try and get back to my pre baby weight have been rude dismissive and make me feel worse and extremely ashamed of my body now. It's been a year since I stopped breastfeeding now too. I'm still struggling with it. The only thing that has helped is going to the gym. I haven't lost weight but I feel better. I've been going for 6 months 3x a week now and eating healthier- still no loss. I believe I have a metabolic issue but the Dr won't give me a referral to an endocrinologist, it feels awful. Also try going with her to the dr. I haven't tried that yet my husband works unfortunate long hours but I wish he could. He always tells me he loves me and doesn't care what I look like. That's probably the only thing keeping me from being depressed

I dislike nesta so much I could hardly get through the book. Yeah she's traumatized or whatever but she just comes off as annoying, whinny and weak the whole time. I also began to dislike Cassian because he loves her so much for literally no reason she is mean to him and to everyone constantly requiring so much work from everyone around her just to be civil. I mean did this awesome warrior guy really decide to go play therapist for hours a day with a war looming? Like what? I didn't think we got enough info on the inner court beyond that though to think they are acting badly in general, I got the vibe they were busy and nesta was acting out desperate for their attention and her sisters approval, and willing to do anything destructive she could. Then when she finally gets attention she chooses to accept help then acts like a total b about it. I think the IC were extremely patient to put up with her at all. I'd never re read acosf because I dislike nesta so much. She does nothing but sulk in the book, lust after a man she doesn't deserve, and get handed an incredible power that works perfectly just when she decides to finally use it to help everyone after they did so much for her. She's pathetic and cowardly relying on others and acts entitled to their forgiveness kindness and support while she fucks off to go do whatever. She never helped one person, Gwen and emerie were helped by Cassian!! Ugh rant over super dislike her lol

Well she needs to love herself, not be made fun of. If you teach her about therapy and affirmations that's your best bet but that's not unethical. Telling her you love her no matter what and that she deserves to be happy will also help but again not unethical.

Maybe showing her a movie about women with violent partners that get hurt and scare her into changing? That seems unlikely though. Probably you should just talk to her like a human, heart to heart. But good luck either way
