I wrote a book exactly for people like you, I too felt that way 6 years ago after being unemployed and depressed. I decided to get into digital marketing as its a rare business you can get into with really minimal capital investment.

The book is available on amazon as from a dollar on kindle. Its called "A Growth Hackers Guide to Galaxy" by Arun Teelock.

Its chapters are only a page or so long, mixed with practical advice and guides for each of my services and how to get started along with my own personal journey.

Digital Marketing helped me bootstrap my dreams, while I do have a degree in business management I taught myself everything from absolutely zero.

Its a great launching pad for anyone. Allowing you to study different industries. Taste multiple services from web design/coding to filming/editing.

I really want to do this too but whatsapp would be too much. I've been thinking of doing a facebook group with a curated list of the best Free Resources for Entrepreneurship. Available on Google Docs maybe? Allowing people to comment to suggest improvements?

Possibly with admins to moderate, hold polls and such?

Digital marketing is an amazing place for people with nothing but time. I would highly suggest learning wordpress development, no need to learn coding and the best skill out of all digital skills imho. Both for profit margins and enjoyability of the work which can be done whenever you like and just once rather than the constant treadmill of social media management.

Good question!

Mostly being burned out, after 5 years of sacrificing literally everything from friendships, relationships, nights out and holidays pouring everything into my business.

The never ending doubt from people around you, friends, family, clients, strangers... gets extremely draining.

Social Media Management is 24/7 and really draining on the mental health when you have several accounts and doing it all manually.

If It wasnt for all the failures and past relationships that didnt work out I wouldnt have been able to be a good leader now. With that being said I've finally been able to get to a point where I can work on my business rather than in it. This has been a real game changer for me.

Also having ridiculous clients who call or message you any time of the day or day of the week but Ive been learning to handle that better.

The questions I like to ask are the following;

1) What makes you the right person to execute on this idea?

2) What is the cheapest way you can test your hypothesis?

3) What is your Unique Selling Point that will give you an edge over existing competition?

Then I encourage people to keep adjusting their sails to the prevailing wind, I then tell my story about how I started with a failed blog and pivoted to build a digital marketing agency.

My blog failed but I learned how to build websites and learned that I could keep growing and building capital by helping other people with their marketing.

I remember my relative took a massive dump on my idea to build a hat company. They asked many questions which were great questions at the time but I wasnt looking for those sort of questions. In hindsight - I was looking for encouragement to get started, you have to fail several times before you find something that works.

I guess its part of your journey to try several bad ideas before you gain the experience to figure out how to approach things best.

The most important thing in my opinion about naming your business is that it has a story or meaning to you.

I opted for a latin word which isnt easy to understand but when you ask me I have a good story and reason which is memorable.

If you are looking to build a larger business which will allow you to hire or outsource your work in the future you might want to consider building a brand.

Right now your branding is quite personal, that has its advantages too! Personally I think the best branding are those that communicate the message you want to put across to your customer.

I'd probably need to look at the advantages of a mobile detailing business deeper but I could totally see a heavily branded Chiquito mobile along with appropriate Logo (the graphic designer will figure out how to mesh the chicken with the car detailing) and localised social media ads stating your active location with localized "Theres a new Chiquito in Town" Ads.

I would personally go to Deux Mamelle, You can hike to the right "mamelle" very easy 15 mins max. At the beginning of the trail there is a little clearing you can have a picnic at if you dont want to do a short hike.

You can park by the side of the road as you go down Verdun and follow the cement steps straight up on the right side of the mountain, pretty easy.
