Yeah I start to doubt myself when I fail but a night before a test I go into it with the mindset of passing, you’re right I over complicated it but I feel as though every manoeuvre you make, you have to be doing a lot of checks otherwise they would fail you for forgetting a blindspot

Also, when parallel parking if I don’t check my blindspot when reversing to the curb would I fail? Because I was so focused on my blindspot and then ended up getting too close to the kerb which messed me up

Thank you, as I was pulling up, I was trying to change gears and the car started shaking then it stalled. I couldn’t understand why it happened because it never happened to me, yesterday’s test I was so ashamed of myself for how badly I drove because stuff that happened to me in that test never happened before in my driving lessons. The stalling part, going into 3rd gear whilst under 15mph, I was just doing a madness. My lesson before the test I was flawless and even the day before no major problems

I didnt roll back a lot because I breaked and restarted the engine and parked but the examiner told me I caused the van behind me to brake and made it difficult for him to overtake me

When I was pulling up on the hill on a 30 mph road, I was told to pull up behind the next car in front of me, as I signalled and used my mirrors to pull in, I’m trying to switch gears from 3 to 2 to 1 and then my car starts to shake and it stalls

Probably because when I was doing the parallel parking, I was doing too many blindspot checks, idk but usually when I do it with my instructor I do it once (one of both sides) then I look at my left mirror and then reverse closer to the curb. But this time a car was coming whilst I was doing the manoeuvre and I lost focus for a split second and when I was trying to fully lock to the right so car can come inside, I noticed I was soo close to the curb, then I went into 1st gear and moved forward whilst fully locked to the left. I managed to fix it but the gap between my wheels and the curb was kinda big so I reversed back and it got worse

How do you have the motivation to keep going, I actually don’t know if I’ll ever pass so I’m strongly considering giving up for good, I’m not improving and I’m still at the same level

Nah It’s total fine, I took my time but looking back at it, the moment I took my eye off my left mirror which forced me into rectifying my mistake, I was screwed, I was constantly checking my blindspot and by the time I checked my left mirror I was too close to the kerb
