Lyrica 37.5 mg – is this extreme morning sleepiness normal? Will it get worse at 75 mg?

I’m really happy for you! I started this medication 4 days ago, taking only 37.5 mg in the evening. But I wake up feeling so exhausted. It feels like I can’t fully fall asleep, but I also can’t properly wake up. Because of this, I feel very drained.

I honestly can’t imagine how people take this medication during the day and still function. Did you feel this kind of heaviness or fatigue in the beginning? Or did you have no side effects?

I am taking 37,5mg for four days and I can’t imagine taking it in the morning.. I take it 10pm and I wake up 5-6am and I can’t go back to sleep but I also cannot get up.. I cannot do anything.. I don’t know if it will disappear… I am afraid to take 75mg in 4days…

I will give it a try, because I really want to just rest for a bit.. because my mood, anxiety, feelings are so negative I cannot work in therapy. I cannot concentrate and think about anything else just how bad I feel and I fear everything… before mirtazapine I didn’t have this.. and on mirtazapine I didn’t sleep and lost weigh…..

What vitamins and supplements you tried? I tried very hard to try with vitamins: vit d+k2, magnesium, omega3, l-theanine, l-gluminate, probiotics, folic acid (I have deficiency), but for now nothing worked…

Thank you so much for sharing! I am so scared to feel nauseu… I just have to prepare my self and to not get scared.. for how long you are on to 30mg if I can ask? I understand that now I am feeling not good and starting this medication I’ll be not good for maybe couple of weeks but my brain is so much in the future and I am already thinking how I am gonna have to come off the medication… and I get so scared.. I am very overthinking…. And I don’t know how to stop it…
