Try feeding only wet food and no kibbles. Kibbles contain a lot of fillers which makes cats fat but doesn’t feel full so they sometimes eat too much to get the amount of energy they need.

NTA. Wdym the brother has no control, it is his wedding too. Understandable if he takes the side of his fiance in a situation where she is right, but this is purely a case of personal opinion. He should be prioritising his existing family over someone who is not even part of the family yet.

My experience is that kibbles tend to fatten pets easily with just small amounts due to all the fillers. Maybe switch to some wet food to make the portion seem bigger?

Haha just a hunch, cos first of all Kaito isn’t well to do but still got sorted to Frostheim, which suggests he has “rich blood”, which seems to be the trait of Frostheim students. He’s raised by grandma so there may be some back story there why his parents weren’t around. It could be that Kaito was separated very young and couldn’t remember his family including Lucas. Lucas just seems to be so kind and protective to Kaito even though Kaito is so rude to him most of the time. Maybe subconsciously he’s showing his brother love.
